Meet Sprinkles! This small girl is a 6-month-old leopard gecko.
She and her sister, Ice Cream, came into the program because their owner was moving.
Leopard Geckos make great pets and are relatively easy to take care of.
They are insectivores, meaning their diet consists of insects. Sprinkles gets 3-4 mealworms every day.
They originated in the mountainous desert of the Middle East so their habitat should mimic that.
She is currently in a 10-gallon tank but will likely need to upgrade to a 20-gallon as she grows.
Like most reptiles, geckos are cold-blooded. This means that they do not regulate their temperature. They need an outside light source to keep them warm.
If you are interested in Sprinkles or her sister, fill out an application. Their adoption fee is $55 each.
