Furry Friend: Avalanche is Looking for a Second Chance!

Meet Avalanche (Avi for short). She was one of the many victims in a hoarding case. Overall, she is healthy, but her spirit is low and her feelings are hurt.

Because of her background, we don't know a lot about her.

We believe she is an adult, maybe 2 or 3 years old. Her size and coloring lead us to think she is a Flemish giant/New Zealand white mix. As you can tell, she is albino. This doesn't affect her health; it just means that she does not produce as much melanin. In fact, she has been given a clean bill of health by the vet.

She is a sweet rabbit but very nervous (understandable given her circumstances).

She isn't a great eater at this point, but we are working with her to broaden her pallet.

Her ideal home is one that has lots of space and love. Because of her large size, she would do best in a home that can accommodate to that- either giving her a full room or a large playpen to run around.

If you are interested in Avi, fill out an application. Her adoption fee is $80.

Update: Avi is doing great at her foster home! Her foster says she is eating well and becoming more comfortable with her surroundings.
