BTS To Deliver An Entire Week Of Performances On 'The Tonight Show'

Get ready, ARMY: BTS is returning to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a week-long celebration!

Starting next Monday (September 28), the K-pop stars will take over Jimmy Fallon’s talk show for a whole week of unique performances, sketches, and interviews, according to Entertainment Weekly.

During BTS Week, fans can expect to see the seven bandmates — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — deliver special performances of their songs every night, including a version of their first English-language record, “Dynamite.” The song broke several records within its August 21 arrival, including setting a new YouTube’s video premiere record with 101.1 million views within 24 hours of its release. Not to mention, it debuted at the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making BTS the first all-South Korean act to garner a No. 1 single in the United States.

“I’m so excited to have BTS back on the show. We just started the new season and we’re working on a lot of really exciting things,” Fallon told EW in a statement. “One thing that is important to us at The Tonight Show is showcasing talent and creatives, so what better way to kick things off than a full week with them. And this is just the start."

BTS Week follows the band’s previous Tonight Show performance from earlier in the year when the boy band took over the famous Grand Central Terminal in New York City back in February to perform their smash hit single “ON.”

The news comes just days after the band performed at the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival this weekend. In case you missed their set, watch it here.
